Fiji Water model Kelleth Cuthbert- a Star Is Born !

 You have to hand it to 35 year old Aussie Aaron Zerefos the mastermind behind Fiji Water after the $multi-million publicity coup he pulled off at the Golden Globe Awards.
Zerefos is a tireless promoter of his bottles of H20. A Globes' source tells us Aaron spent less than $50K to be involved in the event.

So successful is his product that Zerefos now spends most of his time traveling the world competing in racing car trials driving a series of Porsche sports cars.

He's even been spotted dating socialites like Lady Victoria Hervey as our snap shows.
We reckon this wasn't a very expensive promotion and it's simplicity will be the envy of publicists worldwide. It certainly beats those tired old "media walls" that confront guests and media at every party or event.
As for model Kelleth Cuthbert who brilliantly persisted for photo-bombing every celebrity on the red carpet- what can we say : A Star Is Born !

A Modern Family Get-together

You don't have to go to Darling Harbour to see the stars of the US hit show Modern Family (they're filming there) . The cast and producers are taking advantage of Sydney's fabulous array of restaurants.


Our Modern Family spy popped into exclusive Icebergs at Bondi Beach and spotted Sofia Vergera and her boyfriend Nick Loeb chowing down with Sydney based Porsche racing driver Aaron Zerefos. 
Zerefos who has been flitting between LA and Sydney had a busy start to the year with success at Mount Panorama and has now become a fixture on the Los Angeles social circle
 Last seen- Zerefos and pals speeding off in a  white Range Rover and according to the Shuttle's spy disguised as an Aspidistra : the trio dined the following night at trendy Mr Wong in the city.

Turning 30

The most popular Miss Universe of all time Jennifer Hawkins celebrated her 30th birthday with a masquerade party at a restaurant in The Rocks.
Like any event Jennifer attends, it's all about the money with an exclusive deal with a glossy magazine to publish photos of the event.

On the other side of town at the uber smart Beach Haus nightclub in Kings Cross, Fiji Water boss Aaron Zerefos who races Porches cars in his spare time also turned 30 with a fab party for 100 close friends.
Aaron always seems to be surrounded by pretty girls. The last time we saw Aaron Zerefos he was deep in discussion with Khloe Kardashian at Ottos in Woolloomooloo. How does he do it ?.

Some months ago the Shuttle went to Beach Haus for a small party thrown by superstar Leo Di Caprio.
We were given instructions not to approach Leo at his table which is pretty difficult in Beach Haus given it's size but by the look of his burly minders, wasn't at all advisable

Joe Spills The Beans

Boxer Big Joe Bugner (he's 6'4" but seems taller) has finally written the story of his life.
Joe became the heavyweight champion in 1998 at the age of 45. And along the way he fought the world's greats including Frank Bruno, Henry Cooper and Joe Frazier. He's probably best remembered for being one who went 30 rounds with the greatest of them all, Muhammad Ali who predicted after that fight that Joe would be world champion one day.
Born in Hungary, Bugner and his family fled when Joe was aged 6 by walking to then Yugoslavia and eventually settled in the UK. At school he was bullied before he learned to fight back.

Broadcaster Alan Jones launched Bugner's book -Joe Bugner, My Story- at the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel (which found fame as the pub where Prince Frederick of Denmark met his future bride Mary). Jones gave us a potted history of Bugner's life which has been really quite adventurous. Joe also became a movie star appearing opposite Jean Claude Van Damme in the action flick Street Fighter. These days he lives on Queensland's Gold Coast with beloved wife Marlene Bugner, a former News Ltd journalist,  making personal appearances at Jupiter's Casino.

One guest at Joe Bugner's book launch was the Porsche racing driver and boss of Fiji Water, Aaron Zerefos. Zerefos bid farewell to other guests at the bash and said he was popping over to the Finger Wharf for a bite to eat.


Taking in the evening air the Shuttle spotted him at Otto's deep in conversation with Khloe Kardashian.

Colour & Movement in Kings Cross

A new luxury Italian eatery with a Brazilian themed opening night was always going to be a must attend bash and the launch party for Janus in Bayswater Road, Kings cross did not disappoint.
JANUS owner George Michael threw his doors open for 300 media and VIPs for a decadent party full of food, sparkle, gyration and tons of truly wonderful food..
Jesinta Campbell looked elegant in a Ferragamo dress and cosied up to  racing driver Aaron Zerefos to sip champagne and taste chef Marcello Guzzo's great nibbles.

 Guests included designer Steven Khalil and Georgia Osborne, Donny Galella, Josh Flynn and Bianca Venuti-Hughes who tasted dishes from a table of antipasto, cheeses, salamis and an amazing array of sweat breads.

Alan Jones Stays Loyal

 How 24 hours can change the world.
 Just before it seems his world was to crash, broadcaster Alan Jones was hobnobbing with city tailor John Serafino who hosted drinks at his new Pitt Street store to celebrate his half a century dressing Sydney businessmen and radio stars.

Amongst Serafino's customers are Jones and his rival John Laws , singer Kamahl plus a host of corporate names who flock to John's store for their expertly tailored duds. Serafino travels to his store every day and has done so for the last 50 years and just recently moved to new premises. He has a sale on at present with a 50% discount. Double Bay based local newspaper Latte Life celebrated it's second successful year with a party at the Watson's Bay Hotel hosted by editor Jane King.
