Tabloid Fail
Yes, Whispers is about to cast nastursions on our media counterparts, imperfect vessel that we are, but Prince Harry & Meghan Markle announced just days ago that young Prince Archie Windsor can expect a sister or brother in the near future.
But the Aussie tabloid magazine No Idea New Idea announced on the very same day that the loving California based couple had split. Well what would we know?. Perhaps it's true. I'm sure all shall be revealed this Monday in their next editon.
Perhaps they know better than this scribe. Afterall we've been out of the loop for a while with endless lockdowns.
It was only just late last year that New Idea announced that Prince Harry had been deported from the USA ( as seen in this cover pic with the Brad /Jen tale). Perhaps the current one is a clone? Is this a QAnon conspiracy revelation?
Of course the same glitzy show biz mag also announced that hunky actor Brad Pitt was back living with Jennifer Aniston just as he arrived in Venice with gorgeous model Nicole Poturalski. Who knows..it could all be true.!

Quelle Horreur !
An almighty row has broken out after the UK gay & lesbian publication Pink News labelled Prince
George as a "gay icon".
Really?. He looks more to Whispers ( as does Princess Charlotte) as delightfully 1950s in that Windsor way. Surely his Father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry are obvious candidates for gay icons.
Anyhow our aging NSW parliamentarian the Reverend Fred Nile is completely outraged and says : “The article is an underhanded attempt at promoting a divisive agenda
of radical social reform by abusing the symbolism of the Royal Family. No child, especially a potential future Monarch, should be exploited for ideological purposes in this way."
Heaven forbid that Australia's (and the Commonwealth's) Royal Family should ever be exploited for ideological purposes.
What to make of this budding scandal? We have no idea.
Disclosure : Whispers once interviewed the Reverend Fred in his NSW Parliament office. He was most friendly, pouring tea and offering biscuits but as we were about to depart he insisted we join his Parliamentary prayer group with his Christian Democratic Party colleagues. A Bible placed in our hand and a gentle shove in the back made it clear a refusal would not be accepted.
We are most honoured to say that the Reverend Fred Nile prayed to The Lord and requested He (She) place Whispers into his (her) gentle arms when That Time comes.

Happy one day...
Just last week the ex-Mrs Packer Jodhi Meares was happily ensconced in the arms of fiance, former INXS singer Jon Stevens at David Jones Autumn Spring fashion show as our exclusive picture shows.
Today police have requested an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) after Stevens was arrested during a fracas with Jodhi in their Point Piper home. Stevens will appear in Waverely Court on Thusday and according to friends is staying with a pal in Potts Point.
## Not a word has appeared in Australian newspapers : the Chinese government is about to clamp down on Chinese citizens traveling abroad on gambling junkets to Australia, Las Vegas Macau and elsewhere. They make up the bulk of cash that flows into these casinos. James Packer has invested $billions in all 3 locations.
Below is the first Royal Selfie from Buckingham Palace. Taken during a birthday party and tweeted for the world to see.

exclusive : Royal Baby is a Girl

Writing in the UK Daily Mail she informs us that Kate Middleton's baby is a girl. Her information comes from The Lady's astrologer Victor Olliver who is very very good at these things. He predicted a definite win for Barack Obama when other astrologers were hedging their bets.

Right Royal Punch Up
![]() |
Barry Everingham |
![]() |
David Flint |
He penned a biography of Princess "Pushy" Michael of Kent and his royal connections appear to be impeccable.
He's sipped cocktails with the late Princess Margaret and was once told by HM The Queen at a party on the Britannica in Kuwait Harbour to "be as naughty as you like" before she quizzed him about Sultan Qaboos of Oman's new palace in Muscat (the Shuttle has been inside-it's magnificent!).
Everingham is a contributor to the ABC's The Drum and News Ltd's The Punch. One delightful piece from his biog tells how he once danced with Imelda Marcos after being commanded to by Lady Mary Fairfax.
Writing for Independent Australia, an on-line forum in a piece called Fantasies & Follies of Flint Everingham says:
"David Flint’s rantings and slurs on anyone who disagrees with him is a disgrace to the monarchist cause" calling Flint a "disgraceful upholder of a moth eaten, out-of-date and insulting system of inherited privilege" . Heady stuff.
Flint has cried foul and responded a week ago in this piece on the IA website crying 'defamation' and says numerous furphies have been perpetuated about his relationship with former PM John Howard who successfully scuppered the Republcian referendum in 1999.
Howard appointed Flint ( a former head of the Press Council ) as head of the Australian Broadcasting Authority (ABA) but that appointment ended in tears when Flint resigned in 2004 after being interviewed by Rado csar John Laws on his morning show whilst the ABA was investigating Laws over the 'cash for comments' scandal.
We feel sure there is much more titilation to come from this scuffle but in the meantime, here is David Flint wearing his Mystic Meg hat with predictions in 2010 where he confidently predicts the mining "Super Profits Tax will end in a legal minefield " (hasn't happened yet) and that Julia Gillard will be defeated at the general election in 2011. She won.

Tassie Dishwasher Takes UK Chef’s Crown
For a tiny population Tasmania is punching well above its
weight.
With ex-real estate agent Mary Donaldson, now Crown Princess Mary who
will one day rule Denmark, Ricky Ponting dominating the cricket, fashion queen Allannah
Hill and the never to be forgotten Hollywood star Errol Flynn, comes the Tasmanian born chef Ash
Mair who has picked up the gong in the UK as Britain's Masterchef in the hugely
popular TV series.

Michel Roux called Mair “a supreme talent” while Wallace
said he had “given me some of the best food I have ever tasted.”

In MasterChef: The
Professionals Mair whipped up a three-course meal for judges Michel Roux Junior
and Gregg Wallace. The menu included a starter of monkfish tail, a main course
of lamb and a Spanish bread-and-butter pudding.

Ash Mair began his career as a dishwasher at the Cucina
Simpatica in Launceston Tasmania and graduated to the 5 star Westbury Hotel in
London where he now lives via several eateries in Spain and France.
Currently
he caters for events and travels and writes about food. Amongst his
private clients -Sir Phillip Green, Sir Elton John and the British Royal Family
