Jason Sullivan's Star Shines

Sullivan & Huvane
News.com has picked up on the Shuttle's exclusive report that Tom Cruise's inadvertent trespasser Aussie model Jason Sullivan had received a flood of offers including phone calls from 2 top Hollywood agents.
How do we know these things ?.

Well in this case because one of the agents who contacted Sullivan is also acting for the Shuttle in a proposed film project. It helps to have contacts especially in Hollywood. That same agent informed us yesterday that contrary to reports Sullivan was staying in Julia Robert's house, he was actually living a house owned by Kevin Huvane who just happens to be Cruise's agent.
Huvane is one of Hollywood's most powerful agents and looks after the likes of Uma Thurmann, Brad Pitt, Keanue Reeves , Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. We reckon Jason's in good hands.
It's all in who you know. Always has been!

From Flab to Fab ! : Russell Crowe

Last night at LA's Soho House
RUSSELL CROWE ISN'T THE FIRST Hollywood star to have a battle with the bulge.

But look at the snap of our Russ from two years ago and our exclusive picture from last night's AACTA Awards in Los Angeles
2010

Crowe was topping the scale at a hefty 102 kilos but has shed 25K in a two year concerted workout regime and we have the secrets.

We and all Russell's Twitter followers. Russ is an active twitterer and last week he detailed his exercise regime which is pretty simple :

1hour 20 minutes walking, 30 minutes of Yoga followed by a 15 minute weights workout.

For the last two years Crowe has made his home in Sydney, partly to spend as much time with his 2 boys Charlie  and Tennyson  and partly to get himself in top shape.
Last year he splashed out $10M on a mansion in Rose Bay with spectacular views of the harbour and a state of the art security system so Russ could do simple things like kick a footie ball around the garden with the kids, away from prying eyes.

He still has the Finger Wharf duplex penthouse in Woolloomoolo (on the market for $6M) but it was becoming increasingly difficult for Russell and wife Danielle Spencer to enjoy those family type events like relaxing in the back yard.

He was also a regular sight walking around the Loo and the Botanic Gardens, sometime wheeling the kids in their strollers.
To nip paparazzi in the bud he kept a wardrobe of 20 similar track suits so one day's photo looked like the rest. These days he still walks around Rose Bay and Bellveue Hill  (with it's punishing hills) but has a minder following in a car.

Crowe was attending the AACTA Awards (that have replaced the Australian Film Institute Awards ) hosted by Australian Of The Year Geoffrey Rush, presented at a party at Soho House along with Guy Pearce, Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep who picked up a gong for her portrayal as Margaret Thatcher.

Om Tuesday the local AACTAS will be presented at the Sydney Opera House with Cate Blanchett hosting the gala.
In 2009 Crowe challenged the Shuttle's favourite show-biz editor Annette Sharp from Sydney Confidential in the Daily Telegraph to a bike ride around Sydney:

Pray for this stripper

We must congratulate Alizee Seri's courage for her strip show last week at the sacred Aboriginal rock Uluru. She garnered heaps of publicity around the world for the stunt, presented below.

But perhaps she should have had a quiet word with Lindy Chamberlain Creighton.

Lindy & Azaria at the Rock
In August 1980 Lindy and her family were camping at Uluru when a "Dingo took my baby" - the immortal line delivered by Meryl Streep who later played Lindy in the film Evil Angels. The subsequent hunt for Lindy's baby Azaria and the errant dingo became a world sensation as the poor woman was crucified in one of the most biased media campaigns ever seen. It was inevitable that she would be charged with the murder of Azaria, found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment in the Northern Territory.

What had Lindy been doing earlier that fateful day ?. She and the family had visited the Rock. Former husband Michael Chamberlain has often told friends in private something that has never been revealed before. That part of his distress from that day was watching Lindy doing a little happy dance while cradling Azaria at the base of rock. It was the last time Michael saw his daughter as Lindy put the child to bed in their tent.

It's been long rumoured and never discussed-the ancient Aboriginal curses and mysterious tribal customs that are conducted at Uluru. In a culture that often expresses itself in dance, dancing is strictly forbidden at the Rock.

Sam Neil & Meryl Streep in Evil Angels
Lindy lost an appeal against her sentence in 1981 but in 1986 the unlikely discovery of baby Azaria's little jacket with what appeared to be jagged teeth marks,at the base of Uluru saw her  released within 5 days and eventually her conviction was overturned. Never mentioned are the consultations husband Michael had with the Pitjantjatjara tribe of central Australia, caretakers of Uluru the year before the jacket was found.

The real details of the miracle find is a mystery yet to be told.
Lindy and Michael never speak of it.
Although Lindy Chamberlain Cheighton now lives in the USA, whenever she returns to Australia for a visit, she travels to Uluru to meet with the Pitjantjatjara mob.

Secret Women's Business is considered by Aboriginals as one of the most powerful forces there are.

Alizee Seri-you have been warned !

stocking fillers

A week of book launches as everyone who is anyone gets their book out for Christmas. Peter Fitzsimmon's biography of flying pioneer Kingsford Smith looks like it will outsell the rest with TV host Ray Martin's autobiography a runner-up with a 100,000 print run.

'Super-agent' Harry M. Miller's "Confessions of a Not So Secret Agent' written with Rolling Stone & FMH managing editor Peter Holder should be a winner as well.

Written in a question and answer style it's a witty run down of Harry's 40 years as a show-biz promoter, manager and confidante of those whose careers fall upon difficult times like Lindy Chamberlain who was jailed and released over the sensational disappearance of her baby Azaria at Ayers Rock in the infamous Dingo Baby case ( Meryl Streep played her in Evil Angels) along with Stuart Diver who
Harry M. Miller above with Lindy Chamberlain

was trapped for days in the Thredbo snow avalanche disaster. Toss in a few affairs with his clients-Shirley Bassey and others and endless anecdotes about Harry's tours with everyone from Chubby Checker to the Rolling Stones. The 70's style club Kit'n'Caboodle in Kings Cross was the perfect location for a gathering of media heavyweights to toast Harry M.
