David Jones Fashion on a wet & windy night

Wow what a star-studded guest list and yet, yet, no Terri Biviano at the David Jones Spring Summer fashion gala at Fox Studios tonight. What can it mean?. Above on the left is our esteemed Foreign Minister the Hon Julie Bishop and her partner David Panton. Next is one of our favourite Hollywood stars Rachael Griffiths followed by our favourite talent show winner Guy Sebastian with Jules Egan and our very favourite nightclub mogul Justin Hemmes.

Below are some lovely fashion snaps as we know you just love all these glamorous frocks and following that some beefcake, both male & female.
We just can't list all the fab designers who were on hand. You'll have to go to your nearest David Jones store and check out the racks. But where was Terri I hear you ask? It's not a Sydney party without Ms Biviano and at least 3 footballers. Was it the weather? It was raining cats & dogs but your intrepid reporter did his duty and stepped out to assist in the consumption of champers and to ogle models on your behalf. Someone has to do it!

TATTOOED NECK of THE MONTH had to be this handsome male model in tonight's parade and HAIRSTYLE of THE MONTH was won by Alice Hill with her homage to Brigitte Bardot.
And because we always cater to all your needs- here is supermodel Jessica Gomez. Gosh. What fun.

Is Tequila the new drink for this summer ? Oprah Winfrey seems to think so. She joined a bunch of pals last night-as our exclusive snap shows - to celebrate her Australian visit with Tecquila Sunrises.

Tragic News

Anthony Del Col the popular Wedding Planner has died at the age of just 33 while on holiday in Greece. It's believed Del Col was killed in a crash in the early hours of Friday morning on the island of Mykonos.

Anthony featured in the Nine Network's reality wedding show The Knot as one of Australia's Top Ten wedding organisers.
He was a popular choice for TV stars and planned the weddings of Ada Nicodemou and Chrys Xipolitas, Rove McManus and Belinda Emmett, and Guy Sebastian and Jules Egan.
All who met him praised Anthony's friendly outlook and expertise.

When Will This Fashion Die?

We've been watching with alarm the tendency for everyone these days to succumb to the tattooist needle, surely the most unoriginal fashion of the century,
Sunday Telegraph

Ros Reines writing in the Sunday Telegraph has ripped into the current X Factor judges ( and contestants) who  sport tats and insist on displaying them at every opportunity including Ronan Keating and Guy Sebastian the committed Christian who seems to be trying to re-assert his 'street-cred' to balance his palm waving life.

Lachlan Murdoch and wife Sarah Murdoch both sport them and recently the estranged wife of media mogul Mike Willesee, Jordana Willesee turned up at a Hermes party sporting a newly inked depiction of Jesus Christ although she expressed reservations that the Thai tattooist had given the Saviour a slightly Asiatic look.

Past 40, tattoos are not a look and maybe it's time to call time on this fashion!.
