Actor Todd McKenney has issued a call to save the Tenterfield Saddlery which is up for sale in the country town of Tenterfield. McKenney played singer songwriter Peter Allen in the show about Allen's life The Boy From Oz. Allen wrote his hit song Tenterfield Saddler about the shop which features in his family history. Now that the saddlery is for sale McKenney is hoping it will be preserved in Allen's name and he is hoping that superstar Hugh Jackman may get involced in his campaign. Jackman played Peter Allen in the Broadway smash hit of The Boy From Oz. Peter Allen died in 1992 and the legendary Frank Sinatra once described him as "Americas's most exciting live performer).
