This year it was to be held at the home of billionaire nightclub mogul Justin Hemmes, his amazing family pile The Hermitage (pictured) in Vauclause with it's commanding views of Sydney Harbour. It was not meant to be. The city's elites which includes a considerable number of top medicos could hardly be seen quaffing fine champagne and canapes while the deadly virus raged all around us.
