Oprah Winfrey flew into Sydney today to film her 2 shows at the Sydney Oprah (Opera) House. Last night she gatecrashed a party in snooty Toorak in Melbourne.
In 2008 Melbourne mother Megan Castran attended the filming of Oprah's show in Chicago and chatted with Oprah after the show. Megan invited her to visit her house in Toorak if Oprah was ever in Melbourne and Oprah agreed to. Last night she kept her word and made a surprise visit to Megan's party, stunning her 20 guests who had gathered for a Taco night
The Big O brought 2 bottles of Tequila with her and stayed for around 2 hours chatting to guests before heading back to Melbourne airport for the one hour flight to Sydney in her private plane. Tonight she is resting at The Hotel Intercontinental before filming the 2 shows on Monday and Tuesday with 7000 people gathering on the Opera House forecourt.
